Dear Wendy and Jeff: Just a brief note to thank you for the use of your beautiful cottage. As you had indicated when we first spoke, it is a great location. The cottage is lovely, and certainly well appointed. Our kids loved the lower bedroom and enjoyed the outdoor toys you provided. Everything was perfect – even the weather.~

JoAnne MacNeil and Andy Marshall , Ottawa, Ontario – 10/28/08

A big thank you goes out to Wendy and Jeff for opening their beautiful home to us! The location was perfect, it felt like we were in our own private setting, yet close enough to wherever we wanted to be. The house is stunning with a spectacular view and all the fine details were taken care of…there was nothing else we could have needed.

Enjoy the spectacular view...

The beach chairs, cooler and sun shade were used often for our great beach weather and the DVD’s, books, games and internet were appreciated during our rainy days too!

We look forward to our next vacation at Glasgow Hills Hideaway.

Tom and Judy, Ottawa, ON, August 2009

Dear Jeff and Wendy, Judy and I and my inlaws just loved your place!! Judy’s parents had upstairs we were below. Everything was 1st class. From the bedding to the appliances to the cutlery we were all most impressed. The weather for the whole week was FABULOUS. Thanks for your thoughtful welcoming gift of the jams which we ate in two days. Just a fantastic week all round and hope to come back soon. The very best, Tom Ottawa, ON

Golfing Divas, London, ON, August 2, 2010

Excellent accommodation. Lots of room and amenities for the four of us. Very very comfortable. Wendy and Jeff you went out of your way to help us. The house layout made it easy to load and unload our golf equipment to the vehicle. Close to good golf courses, bakeries (mmm..) shopping and routes for touring the island. Only 30 minutes from Charlottetown or 15 minutes from Victoria by the sea for a day outing. Only 10 minutes to Cynthia Mcleod’s ceilidh for an entertaining evening. Highly recommended.

Perfect PEI Retreat, Niagara on the Lake, July 24, 2010

Glasgow Hills Hideaway exceeded our expectations in every way. The owners have thought of every possible thing to make their guests totally comfortable. The house was immaculate. This is a home away from home, not a cottage. We hated to leave and plan on returning next year.

Vince and Gerri Wallace, North Carolina, August 2010

What a wonderful place. Hidden away from “the tourists”, yet close enough to all attractions, golf, restaurants, etc. The place was immaculate and the owners nearby when needed–yet were not intrusive. The pictures accurately describe the house.

  • Welcome to PEI

    • Prince Edward Island, is the smallest of the Canadian provinces both in size and population. While it is densely populated, it is not overcrowded. The Province is also called 'PEI', or simply 'The Island'. The capital city is Charlottetown.
